Burna Boy, a multi-award-winning musician from Nigeria, has made an incredible accomplishment with his most recent record.
The African Giant’s tracks from his album “Love Damini” are topping the official Apple Music rankings in Nigeria.
As all the tracks on the project secured a position, Burna Boy knocked every other artist from the top slot all the way down to the 19th spot.

J Hus, a UK rapper, is featured in Cloak and Dagger, which peaked at number one. Ladysmith Black Mambazo is included in Love, Damini, which reached at number 19.

In the meantime, the number-one song Peace Be Unto You by singer Asake fell to the 20th spot on the rankings.

In other news, highly rated Nigerian Afrobeats musician, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy has disclosed why he doesn’t get involved in politics.
Burna Boy is currently making headlines after he released his sixth album ‘Love Damini’ which is streaming on Apple Music and Podcast. Most Nigerians have taken to their page to retweet Burna Boy’s album.

Burna Boy has disclosed that he made a personal decision not to get involved in politics and also turned down juicy offers from big men in the game. He added that he prefers sticking to his career than diverting into politics.

Burna Boy disclosed;

“I’ve turned down things that even greater men than me could not turn down. Because I don’t want any involvement in politics and trickery. And I’ve always made my stance clear where all of that is concerned, so as you know, the reason for surprise.

“It’s like drinking water. It’s natural for me. I can only speak for now because I don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow as regards the world, and who may come into the picture.”
