Famous Nigerian health influencer, Aproko Doctor, has stirred reactions on social media after he revealed how battled with brain tumor in December 2022.

In a post shared by the influencer on his official Twitter page on January 16, Aproko doctor said he went blind in one eye on December 3rd and 5th of 2022, after which he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Speaking in the video, he said, “One thing to understand is that health issues can happen to you regardless of who you are including me.

“For the past three weeks or two weeks, I have been fighting for my life. Some of you have no idea. It happened that I was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma which is a brain tumour and I had no idea I would be sharing my story”.

Throughout December of 2022, I was fighting for my life. I went blind in one eye on the 3rd of Dec. 2022 & on the 5th, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour.

He further revealed that he fought hard for his life after he was diagnosed but nobody knew what he was going through.Aproko mentioned that despite his friends encouraging him to travel abroad to have his brain surgery, he declined all of them because he still had belief in the country’s health sector.While commending Dr Tayo Ojo, a Nigerian neurosurgeon who conducted the surgery, he used the medium to dedicate his life to see the country’s health sector flourish.Meanwhile, the heartfelt video has since stirred reactions on Twitter as many people shared sympathetic comments.
