Agbonlahor said that the likes of Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, and Timo Werner should not be a part of Thomas Tuchel’s squad next season, or else Tottenham Hotspur will finish ahead of Chelsea in the upcoming season.
According to him, Ziyech, Pulisic and Werner are not good enough to play for Chelsea going forward.
Recall that Chelsea confirmed the signing of Sterling from Manchester City on Wednesday.
The England international became the club’s first summer signing under the Todd Boehly era yesterday.
“Chelsea definitely needs more options. Ziyech and Pulisic are not good enough,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
“Werner, with his last season, you need to get rid of all three of them.
“Sterling is a great signing. They have got Havertz, but you need someone else on that right-hand side and maybe another striker.
“Chelsea have got a lot of business to do, they are nowhere near it.
“If they stay with this squad now, Spurs will finish above them, they have got a lot of work to do.”
