Llorente, however, did not give away much when asked about the reports linking Ronaldo to Atletico Madrid this summer.
Ronaldo has informed Manchester United about his decision to leave the club this summer to compete for major honours and play in the UEFA Champions League.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been linked with Atletico, Chelsea among other top European clubs, but Llorente believes transfer rumours are not discussed amongst teammates in the dressing room due to their uncertainty.
Speaking to El Larguero (via AS), Llorente said: “No way. They talk about so many names that don’t end up coming, it’s no use talking.
“If he comes, there will be time to talk. I, at least, try to pass the subject because there is too much talk.”
He added, “You all know him and you know everything he has achieved (laughs). It is more the coaching staff and the club that should decide.”
