Former Arsenal forward player, Olivier Giroud has revealed how he got to sign for the North London club.

The French player was speaking in an interview which was reported by RMC Sports on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022. According to Giroud, the manager of the Gunners who was, Arsene Wenger, approached him for a move to the Premier League.

Arsène (Wenger) came to pick me up in France. He gave me the opportunity to realize a childhood dream which was to play in the Premier League and follow in the footsteps of all the French people who have passed through there. Giroud stayed with the Gunners for six years before moving to join Chelsea Football Club where he won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup. He now plays his football in Italy with Serie A side, AC Milan.
